JP’s journey began in Nhulunbuy, Northern Territory, before leading him to the Sunshine Coast for university.
An outdoors enthusiast, he’s passionate about surfing, touch football, and lacing up his sneakers for a marathon or two. Weekends often find him cheering for the Brisbane Broncos or enjoying the beach with friends.
There’s more to JP than sports, though. He’s been a snake handler since childhood and loves country music, especially Zach Bryan. You might spot him at a music festival, embracing the laid-back atmosphere.
JP graduated as an occupational therapist from the University of the Sunshine Coast. He’s thrilled to be part of the More Than Able Therapy team, where he gets to pursue his passion for working with kids of all ages.
His experience from hospital and paediatric clinics has only deepened his enthusiasm for helping children reach their full potential.
Bringing energy, creativity, and a strong work ethic to his role, JP is dedicated to supporting families and young individuals. He finds immense joy in being part of each client’s journey, collaborating with a team that shares his commitment to progress and holistic care.
For JP, there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing kids grow and thrive through occupational therapy.
Factoids about JP:
- He completed his final clinical placement as a lone male in an office with 14 women, right here at MTA. With not a hint of fear in his face, he’s become one of the team in no time and is much loved around the office.
- JP is a bit of a fashion-forward human; often sporting his air Jordans, rocking his Birks, or his applique-style shorts around the joint. Really just making us all look good!
- JP is the champion of bubble monster and scooter board races, but he’s nice enough to let the kids win (every now and again…)
