Brianna-Garrick | Physiotherapist

Brianna is a born-and-raised Sunshine Coast local who’s found her calling as a physiotherapist. After spending several years working in regional Queensland, she’s brought a wealth of experience and expertise to the More Than Able team.

Since joining MTA, Brianna has really hit her stride, specializing in hydrotherapy, complex disability cases, assistive technology prescription, and supporting clients with genetic conditions like Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and Down Syndrome. She’s seen firsthand the incredible impact that aquatic therapy can have on people’s lives, and it’s become one of her true passions.

When she’s not busy helping her clients reach their goals, you can usually find Brianna outdoors, exploring the beautiful natural spaces around the Sunshine Coast. She’s always up for a good hike or a refreshing swim in a waterfall, and she’s got a real soft spot for dolphins (just ask her about her trip to Tasmania!).

Brianna grew up in a tight-knit community that loved camping and all sorts of fun, skill-building activities. That experience has really shaped her approach to physiotherapy – she’s all about creating positive, enriching experiences for her clients that help them grow and thrive.

Oh, and did we mention that Brianna is a bit of a musician too? She loves playing piano and guitar in her free time, and she even wrote a silly song about llamas once (there’s video proof, but you didn’t hear it from us!).

At the end of the day, Brianna brings a lot of heart, humor, and hands-on experience to her work at MTA. She’s dedicated to helping her clients achieve their potential and live their best lives, and we’re so lucky to have her on the team.

Factoids about Brianna:

  • She would camp every weekend if she could, so much so, it seems like every weekend she has a new adventure planned!
  • She can whistle like a baby chicken, just ask her to show you! you might just think there is a REAL chicken in the room!
  • No only does she love chickens, but she also loves dogs, and she desperately wants a golden retriever puppy to hold and cuddle at all times!
