Meet Rachel, our newest Occupational Therapist who brings a natural warmth and calming presence to everything she does. After finding her calling while working as an Allied Health Assistant and disability support worker,
Rachel followed her dream of becoming an OT, recently graduating from the University of the Sunshine Coast with a passion for paediatrics and family-centred care.
Having called the Sunshine Coast home for the past nine years,
Rachel’s journey to OT has been enriched by her diverse life experiences and hands-on work in the disability sector. Her genuine nature and ability to instantly connect with both clients and colleagues has made her a beloved team member wherever she goes – a gift that’s already evident in her new role at More Than Able Therapy.
With a keen interest in neuroaffirming practice, complex equipment prescription and early intervention, Rachel combines her practical experience with her natural creativity and adventurous spirit.
When she’s not helping families navigate their therapy journey, you’ll find her sharing her love of surfing and stand-up paddleboarding through her volunteer work with the Disabled Surfers Association Sunshine Coast!
